I have loved movement my whole life, having done ballet and gymnastics since I was a tot until my late teens. I first practised yoga in my 20s and returned to it in earnest after having my two children. I completed my 200hr teacher training in 2018 and have since undertaken additional formal trainings that include whole body strength & mobility and modern Vinyasa with Jason Crandell, sequencing with Jason and with Adam Husler; and applied anatomy with Dr Yogi. In February 2024 I became accredited as a breathwork and meditation teacher after completing the 100 hours Just Breathe level 1 training with global teacher Michael James Wong. My teaching takes inspiration from Vinyasa and Forrest yoga, my dance and gymnastics background and the teachings of anatomy experts, to help you move with energy, strength and grace. I am fascinated by the mind-body connection and the need to regulate the nervous system, so my classes have the intention of balancing energy levels, reducing stress & tension and uplifting the spirit. My mantra is 'Shine Your Light': I believe everyone should be able to live life to their infinite potential and, in my experience, yoga enables you to do that.
