FAQ’s

Do you have parking?

Yes, we have a car park which is free and also plenty of free parking on the road.

How do I get started?

If it is your first time at C O Yoga Studio, we strongly recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes before your yoga class.  We need you to complete a ‘New Client’ Form.  After your first time, we ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes before the class begins.

You will be asked to remove your footwear before entering the studio space.  Footwear can be left in the changing rooms.  Your mobile is best left in the changing rooms on silent, but if you must bring it into the studio, please do not forget to turn it on SILENT.

Do I need a mat?  What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring a yoga mat or a towel to cover the mat which is already placed in the studio.  We also provide props, such as bricks, blocks, bolsters and straps.  It is advisable to bring a bottle of water with you to each session.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move and stretch in.  You may get hot, so perhaps you want to wear something that will keep you cool, but bring something to keep you warm, when you slow down in relaxation.  Shoes and socks are not worn when practicing yoga.

Can I eat before a Yoga Class?

Yoga can be uncomfortable when practicing on a full stomach.  Try to eat at least 2 hours before a class, a light snack such as a piece of fruit or energy bar should be fine.

What if I have an injury or medical condition?

Always consult your doctor first, and please inform the teacher before the class starts.

Do I need to be flexible?

You don’t need to be flexible.  Yoga helps with flexibility, the more your practice the more flexible you become.
